Resources For Teens

HELP IS CLOSE BY

Being a teen is hard!  And let’s face it, when you are in an emergency situation, dialing the phone and trying to find the right resources can be really tough.  Here at Smart Girl Society, we are working toward offering up-to-date resources and phone numbers for the largest areas that Girls (and Guys) are struggling with today including:

Bullying and Cyber Bullying, Sextortion and Traffiking, Depression, Suicide, Self-harm, Sexual and Domestic Violence, Mental Health.

  1.  Do you feel Safe?
  2.  Are you in Physical Danger?
  3.  Do you have thoughts or plans that could be dangerous to yourself or others?

If you answered “Yes” to any of the three above questions, ask for HELP immediately.  If you do not have a trusted adult available, and you feel like you are in immediate danger, Dial 911.

If you feel like you are not in immediate danger, please start with the following resources.  The first number listed (Boys Town National Hotline) is the most comprehensive resource offered.  Start there.

Boys Town National Hotline:  1-800-448-3000

National Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Hotline: 1-800-799-7233

Confidential Trafficking Resource Center Hotline: 1-888-373-7888
